Over the years, it has almost become a tradition that a role within hospitality is an “add-on job” a “stop-gap”, a job that is done whilst studying to build a future career in another industry. Whereas this is certainly acceptable and works well for some businesses and individuals, it is a shame that a role within hospitality is not more often seen as a career itself.
